Appchemist operates Version Story, an Android app that helps users document version histories, release notes, milestones, and product updates. This policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We May Collect
- Account data, if sign-in is enabled, such as name, email address, and authentication identifier
- User-created content such as release notes, version descriptions, milestones, and project labels
- Basic diagnostics such as crash logs and performance data when enabled
- Support messages you send directly to Appchemist
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Photos or videos unless you explicitly attach them in a future app feature
- Financial information
- Health or fitness data
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide app functionality, save user-created version records, improve reliability, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by trusted service providers used for hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, or cloud storage. These providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide.
Retention and Deletion
User-created content and account data are retained while an account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Users may request deletion by following the instructions on the Delete Account and Data page or by emailing support@appchemist.dev.
Children
Version Story is not designed for children under 13 and should not be used by children unless a parent, guardian, school, or applicable organization has confirmed that the use is appropriate and lawful.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
