Delete Account and Data

Use this page to request deletion of your Version Story account and associated data. Appchemist will verify the request before deleting account records or user-created content tied to your account.

How To Request Deletion

1. Email support@appchemist.dev from the email address associated with your account.
2. Use the subject line: Version Story Data Deletion Request.
3. Include your account email, approximate signup date if known, and whether you want account deletion, content deletion, or both.

You can start the request directly by emailing support@appchemist.dev.

What Will Be Deleted

Account identifiers, saved version notes, project records, release histories, and support-linked account references associated with the verified account will be deleted or anonymized.

What May Be Retained

Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax or accounting obligations, dispute resolution, or to document that a deletion request was completed. Retained records are kept only for the period required for those purposes.

Timing

Requests are typically reviewed within 7 business days and completed within 30 days after identity verification, unless a longer period is legally required.

In-App Deletion

If account settings are available in the Android app, you may also start deletion from the in-app account controls. Email support remains available for all deletion requests.
